Emergency power generator

Emergency power generator

Whatever business activities you run, sudden power cuts are not desirable. Work has to be stopped and both your customers and employees are simply waiting for the power supply to work again. Yet power outages still occur regularly, usually due to overloading or failure. This certainly applies to industries where there is no on-site power supply as standard. Think, for example, of a construction site or an event site. An emergency power supply, or emergency power generator, is the ideal solution for this.

The power generators come in various sizes - from 6 kVA to 120 kVA-, so that all construction sites and events can be supplied with renewable energy on site. Our renewable generators can save up to 100% of CO2 and nitrogen with comparable costs to a conventional diesel generator

What is an emergency power generator?

An emergency power generator, also regularly called an emergency power generator, is like a backup power supply. This generator takes over the tasks of your main power supply when it is out of order. You are thus guaranteed a working electricity network.

Solar backup power

Now you may be thinking why an emergency power generator still works while the electricity supply is out of order. This is because an emergency power generator usually runs on fuel, e.g. petrol or diesel. This fuel is then used to generate power. However, there are quite a few drawbacks to this. For instance, fossil-fueled generators are polluting, smelly, relatively expensive to run and also emit a lot of carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

Volta Energy has come up with a solution to this, namely a solar-powered emergency power generator. These are easily transportable generators equipped with solar collectors including a battery for storing solar energy. So you are always assured of sustainable energy, even in an emergency when your regular power supply fails.

Tailor-made emergency power solution

In order to provide a suitable solar emergency power solution for any size of business, Volta Energy offers five different models for rent: Model 6 kVA, Model 15 kVA, Model 45 kVA and Model 120 kVA. These range from a lightweight model that can be lifted by two people and delivers 600W to a heavy-duty model with as many as 144 solar panels and mounted on a truck trailer. The intermediate models are in fact direct sustainable replacements for a conventional diesel generator.

All models can be monitored with a smart IoT app, so you know exactly how much power is being
is being generated and consumed. From 6 kVA, the models also have a back-up biofuel genset for absolute emergencies.

Frequently asked questions

A facility that can supply power somewhere where there is currently no fixed power connection. Our emergency power generators with solar panels generate solar energy wherever it is needed. This is all done very quietly, sustainably and completely green.Β For more information on how it works, check out this page!

For construction huts, festivals, camera security, campsites, telecom masts. In fact, anywhere where there is no power at the moment. Solar-powered emergency generators are used for everything that normal generators are also used for. This means that they are mainly used in places where power is impossible or very difficult to get. But that is not the only thing. In buildings like hospitals, a solar generator forms an emergency power supply. When the power fails, a solar-powered genset is used to generate power.

The solar panels on the emergency genset support the battery, reducing the number of times the genset is supposed to run. For the whole technical story, check out this page!

That depends on what you are going to use the emergency power generator for! Our models are the 6 KvA, 15 KvA, 45 KvA and 120 KvA. The 6 KvA model is perfect for small-scale construction projects and site lighting. The 120 KvA is especially for large construction sites, festival and large events. We are of course happy to help you with what you need!
