What is an emergency power generator?
An emergency power generator, also regularly called an emergency power generator, is like a backup power supply. This generator takes over the tasks of your main power supply when it is out of order. You are thus guaranteed a working electricity network.
Solar backup power
Now you may be thinking why an emergency power generator still works while the electricity supply is out of order. This is because an emergency power generator usually runs on fuel, e.g. petrol or diesel. This fuel is then used to generate power. However, there are quite a few drawbacks to this. For instance, fossil-fueled generators are polluting, smelly, relatively expensive to run and also emit a lot of carbon dioxide and nitrogen.
Volta Energy has come up with a solution to this, namely a solar-powered emergency power generator. These are easily transportable generators equipped with solar collectors including a battery for storing solar energy. So you are always assured of sustainable energy, even in an emergency when your regular power supply fails.
Tailor-made emergency power solution
In order to provide a suitable solar emergency power solution for any size of business, Volta Energy offers five different models for rent: Model 6 kVA, Model 15 kVA, Model 45 kVA and Model 120 kVA. These range from a lightweight model that can be lifted by two people and delivers 600W to a heavy-duty model with as many as 144 solar panels and mounted on a truck trailer. The intermediate models are in fact direct sustainable replacements for a conventional diesel generator.
All models can be monitored with a smart IoT app, so you know exactly how much power is being
is being generated and consumed. From 6 kVA, the models also have a back-up biofuel genset for absolute emergencies.
