What is Energy as a Service?

Energy as a Service (EaaS) is a model in which your entire mobile energy supply is contracted as a service, rather than hardware being rented or bought. You pay a fixed, all-in-one price and receive a complete solution in return: the Volta, logistics, fuel, maintenance, and monitoring. No separate charges, no unexpected costs, and no operational burden on-site.

What is included?

Personalised advice

We assess your energy requirements and recommend the model that best suits your project, location, and project duration. No prior technical knowledge is required. That’s our job.

Delivery and installation

Our technical service team will deliver the Volta to your location on the agreed-upon date. We will install everything, check that it is working properly, and provide a brief explanation. Installation usually takes less than an hour. After that, the system is immediately operational.

Fuel management

We continuously monitor fuel levels remotely and ensure timely refueling. You never have to refuel, place orders for fuel, or keep track of anything yourself.

Maintenance

Proactive and corrective maintenance is fully included. Our technicians ensure that the system continues to perform optimally throughout the entire rental period.

Remote monitoring

Every system is continuously monitored via our proprietary monitoring platform. Any anomalies are detected before they become a problem. Our technical support team resolves issues remotely or on-site. You won’t even notice.

Return & collection

Once the project is complete, we will arrange to collect the Volta. We’ll arrive, pack everything up and take the Volta with us.

How are we different from regular generator rental companies?

With standard generator rental, you rent a unit. What happens after that is your responsibility. Refueling, reporting malfunctions, arranging maintenance, and picking up the unit afterward, you handle all of that yourself or through separate contracts with multiple parties.

At Volta Energy, things work differently. We are responsible for the entire system, from the moment of delivery to the moment of collection. One point of contact, no fragmentation and, a fixed all-in-one price.

    Yes. We provide equipment for both short-term and long-term projects. Please contact our team for the current rental terms and minimum rental periods for each model.
  • Can I manage multiple locations at the same time using Energy as a Service?
    Yes. Our Energy as a Service model is specifically designed for organizations that manage multiple locations. We handle centralized monitoring, while you manage the projects.
  • What happens if there's a malfunction?
    We monitor our systems remotely. If there’s a problem, we’ll often know about it before it affects you. Our technical support team resolves issues as quickly as possible, either remotely or on-site.
  • Is fuel really included?
    Yes. Fuel management is fully included in our Energy as a Service model. We monitor the fuel level and ensure timely refueling. You never have to refuel it yourself.
  • What if my project goes over schedule?
    In that case, we’ll extend the rental period by mutual agreement. We’ll work this out together so you never run out of power.
  • Can I still change the model after delivery?
